While the overall climate in Ithaca can't really compare with west coast, the seasonal changes do bring about some beautiful scenery from time to time. Mid-autumn is one such time. Despite the fact that the computer science building is probably the ugliest one on campus, it's compensated by being located right next to one of Cornell's famous gorges.
I might as well enjoy it while I can. Soon enough, once the first blizzard comes, the entire area will be covered with snow and ice stalactites (which is also quite beautiful).
